One large child care room is provided with-in a structured environment, divided into learning centers, fully furnished and stocked with developmentally appropriate activities suited to each child’s developmental needs. Each section provides opportunities for learning, exploration and discovery all thru-out the day. The

children participate in a morning circle time to discuss the weather, calendar, events or anything currently going on in child care or their homes. The children have opportunities to participate in reading stories, telling stories, signing songs, finger plays and puppet shows. The children spend at least 1 to 2 hours a day outdoors exploring and discovering new things. The outdoor playground is set-up to provide large motor development and nature exploration. We love to create fun outdoor play spaces to have story time, painting, music and movement

and so much more.

Child Care Set-up Description

Children need space; they need room and time and freedom to act on the world around them. They need places to go and things to do and people to show them how.

Sometimes all they need is to be left alone.

>School should be more home like then institutional – hardwood floors and

natural tiles with natural light and warm colors.

*Children become more self sufficient and independent and in control

of their surroundings making their learning through play a long lasting experience.
